I am intrigued by marketing-technology, so apart from regular work on my to-do list, a typical day involves reading/researching on what we can do to make our systems deliver better and more efficiently. And of course, the pace of technology means also keeping abreast with what new tech can be used for our business. I avoid emails till for as long as I can!
